Sheila had to say goodbye to Molly today:( She was 16 years old and lived a cushy life with my sister. Molly was well loved and will be missed. RIP

Meaningful Weekend

C and T spent the weekend away on their own adventures. They did the Passport 2 Purity weekend (see below). Getting to spend one on one time together makes for a great weekend In itself, but add on some meaningful conversations and you have a huge WIN! They had a great time together.

Passport2Purity® by Dennis and Barbara Rainey is a kit with CD's and other materials designed to guide a parent and preteen child in heart-to-heart communication about issues such as sex, purity, peer pressure, and dating. The Raineys suggest that the material be used during a weekend getaway, with fathers taking sons and mothers taking daughters. A goal of the parent/child weekend is to discuss crucial issues and help the child make decisions in advance as to how they will face the turbulent teen years.

Hikers

We found some cool adventures today on the Chattahoochee River. Pretty crazy that I went in search of a place in the river that I used to frequent over 20 years ago! We actually found it on our second attempt. Love that I can share some of my memories making new ones with my babies :)

Kudos to Kindergarten

And she will soon be off to the real live 1st grade...sigh. Growing up way way way too fast!

Choir Performance

Sorry I failed miserably at taking pics during the spring musical the girls did at church. Just trust me...they sang beautifully!

End of 3rd Grade

Lots of memories made in her big 3rd grade year. A had a fantastic teacher, Mr.Teller, who helped her have a fantastic year!! Lots and lots of year end activities this month for sure.

It's Open

Yep yep it's that time again! It may be cold, but they couldn't wait any longer. Looking forward to many many fun times in the backyard this year.
