Cabin Fever

This crew needed to get out and about a bit today. Pretty day to venture outdoor! S is struggling to walk very much. Not sure how she's going to do when it's time to go back to school. I hope she is up to going back by Monday.

Feeling Better

She's on the mend! We made it up to the cabin, she slept most of the way. She's feeling a lot better and even helped me bake some goodies tonight. Her jaw is still swollen a lot, but she isn't complaining too often. She has her own bed at the cabin so her sisters won't accidentally bump her in the night. Hoping she gets some peaceful sleep tonight. So much to be thankful for, good medicine, good healthcare, sweet shelbybaby :)

Follow Up

S only had to stay one night at the hospital. She did great! We made it home around 2:30pm yesterday. She was glad to get home to her own bed. She woke up right about every four hours though in pain and ready for her meds. She woke up with her mouth pretty swollen, but complains more about her hip. All in all she's been a real trooper. Sandy filled the fridge with some goodies and Her daddy even went to get her special pie from OCharley's. And Betty made her favorite Mac and cheese this morning. She's been eating regularly amazingly!

Surgery Day

The day has arrived for S to have her aveolar bone graft surgery. Yeah, not much fun. We chose today so that she wouldn't have to miss any school days, and it gives her a full week to recover. She is doing much much better than I had anticipated. Only a few tears really. We are planning to get to go home after just a one night stay here at the hospital tonight. The doctor even said she can get in the hot tub on Thursday! Prayers have been answered and I am so grateful for His mercy on my baby girl.

Turkey Two

It was time for my second turkey lunch with this little turkey :)  Love that my new flexible work schedule allows for me to spend time with all my babies during these special days!
